Global Insights, Better Accreditation Decisions
As more business schools in China consider international accreditation, the question is increasingly not βπΈπ©π¦π΅π©π¦π³β to pursue it, but βπΈπ©πͺπ€π© π’π€π€π³π¦π₯πͺπ΅π’π΅πͺπ°π―, π’π―π₯ πΈπ©πΊ?β
On 13 March 2026, QED: The Accreditation Experts, in collaboration with Blackboard China, coβhosted “Before You Begin: What Business Schools Should Know Before Choosing an Accreditation,” a webinar that brought together leaders and faculty from more than ten Chinese universities.
QEDβs Joanne Powell and Diane Hsieh discussed how different international business school accreditations align with institutional strategy and context, and introduced the three QED Principles to frame accreditation as a driver of continuous improvement and strategic clarity, rather than an endβinβitself label.
We are grateful to Dan Zhang at Blackboard China and to all participants for an engaging exchange. If your school is reflecting on which accreditation and why, weβd welcome further conversation.
